The Reto Volcánico is a truly unique 25K distance run on a demanding yet incredibly scenic course outside of San Quintin, Baja California, Mexico. Participants from all over the world come to measure themselves against some of the best on a course that was carefully mapped to take advantage of the evolving and challenging natural topography winding through the San Quintin Bay wetlands to the rugged coastline, beaches and dunes of this remote Baja Pacific location.
If that weren't enough, the entire event plays out among a field of ancient volcanoes providing a visual and dramatic backdrop along the route creating a truly one of a kind endurance race, explaining why so many participants from North and South America, Europe, Africa and Asia all make the effort each year to take part in a marathon unlike anything else on the planet!
