Mike’s Sky Ranch

Mikes Sky Ranch is a remote ranch-resort and a favorite stop for dirt bikes and off-roaders, serving as a checkpoint for the SCORE Baja 500 and 1000 races.

Located on the northwestern edge of the National Park at San Pedro Mártir and over looking the Arroyo San Rafael Mountains.

Named after its founder – Mike Leon – Mikes Sky Ranch was established in 1967 and includes 27 rooms with hot showers as well as accommodating RV’s and campers. There is also an airstrip for travelers and the cost includes full access of the relaxing pool, recreation areas, horseback and meals, which are served family style (campers will have to pay extra for meals).

Visitors can also count on a well stocked bar, but remember that it’s best to bring cash when at the ranch.

Nearby you can enjoy hiking trails, trout fishing, waterfalls and hundreds of trails perfect for any off-road enthusiast. The road to Mikes Sky Ranch can be rough in some parts so it is recommended that you have a SUV, truck or any type of vehicle that offers some ground clearance.

Mike Sky Ranch can get cold at night, so plan ahead – especially if you decide to camp.
