2 years agoWhat an incredible place. Very simple with a gravel floor. This is what restaurants in Mexico must have been like back in the old days. A dozen or so pots full of all these amazing dishes are on this huge stove. You just tell them what you want and they fill your plate high. True home cooking. I had the chicharrón and the Machaca, both fantástico. This came with tortillas and a large plate of Queso Fresco. They come by and ask if you would like seconds! I got seconds and they put a spinach chicken dish on my plate and they said i had to try it. This dish was also really tasty. I can't say enough about how much i enjoyed this place and the price was also very reasonable. A must try kinda place. I'll be back.

a year agoEating here - a top 5 highlight of my Baja 1000 trip! Delicious - Authentic - Delightful! The people: warm and friendly despite the language barrier. Tourist? Enjoy going off the beaten trail? Aren’t put off by no menus, a gravel floor, the cleanest tables and chairs you’ve seen in a restaurant and authentic local food? Then don’t miss this!

2 years agoThis place is the best! Stand in front of a huge stove where maybe 10 different Mexican dishes are cooking and pick what you want. Add fresh made tortillas and you have a special meal (seconds too) 100 pesos per plate

4 years agoBeat food and cultural experience we have had in our 10 days in Baja so far. Great food buffet for low prices. We paid 280 pesos for all you can eat plus drinks. Very friendly. Fun to sit at the counter and watch both the cooking, preparation, and interactions. Family owned for 29 years. The father cooked us Mickey Mouse pancakes and brought fresh strawberries and raspberries with cream.

a month agoI knew walking in here I was about to experience the most authentic food in my life. If you are a tourist, don't be afraid because you are about to have some really good food! Im not entirely sure how it was priced out but the place was buffet style and everything is kept hot in large pots. I had some Fish dish, Chili Verde, Choirizo eggs, mexican rice and beans. Holy smokes it was like my my great grandma's cooking from many year back. So good, so flavorful and very fresh. The staff is a small family and they are so sweet. I wish the best for them because if they did something like this in the US they would be a viral food spot.
