The Parque Nacional Sierra de San Pedro Mártir covers over 170,000-acres in Baja California’s Sierra de Juarez is home to the Baja Peninsula’s highest peak – Picacho del Diablo (Devil’s Peak) – at 10,154 feet. This national park is full of pine and fir trees with snow-capped peaks during the winter months along with hundreds of unique plant species, making this beautiful area one of the most prestigious natural protected areas in all of Mexico.
This national park is home to countless scenic vistas with hiking trails, overnight camping and cabins available by reservation at +52 (646) 172-3000 ext. 3229
The observatory is open seasonally from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Access to the park will be limited in the winter months during periods of snow and ice due to hazardous road conditions.

a year agoGorgeous! Very unique experience. Beautiful hikes. Make sure you bring enough supplies, especially water and TP, it's very remote. High altitude (9,000 ft) so be prepared for feeling it when you breath. Lots of hikes, but go early because it can get hot quickly. Be prepared for colder temps at night. Great trip though, beautiful views and so different from other Baja adventures. Definitely want to go back!
