La Ostionera de Bahia Falsa holds an historic place along the bay as the venue where Ostiones Guerrero, SA de CV became the very first private business in Baja California, Mexico to be granted a federal permit for oyster farming and where the company - under the direction of its founder, Reyes Guerrero Sandoval - would launch its operations nearly 30 years ago and today includes 3 generations of family members working in the business.
Their federal land parcel was appropriately named "La Ostionera" and their restaurant - La Ostionera de Bahia Falsa - offers fresh from the bay oysters along with several other delicious seafood dishes.
Along with the restaurant, visitors may rent kayaks to explore the bay as well as stay to enjoy day and/or overnight camping on the Ostiones Guerrero bayfront parcel, home to the 2022 Reto Volcanico!
